THE RACES The 2008 Long Island Marathon, Festival of Races will feature an
all new 5K Race, 10K Race, Kidz Fun Run, and of course, Half Marathon and
Marathon!The all new 5K Race will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 8:00 AM and is perfect for anyone who isn't ready for the longer distances, wants to
have a fun, festive warm-up the day before the big race, or simply likes running
5K races!Always the first Sunday in May, the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K
Races will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 8:00 AM. Participants of all 3
races will start at the same time on Charles Lindbergh Blvd. and finish at the
same locatiion inside of Eisenhower Park across from Parking Field #5.
